How Klarity integrates within your environment

Oftentimes, the information within the documents doesn’t match up with the data. Revenue accountants have to expend significant time and effort manually reading the documents, comparing the information against the data stored in their systems and correcting errors. Klarity integrates with these systems, automatically pulls in relevant documents, extracts the correct data and sends it back to the original system. One of our customers, Rapid7, uses Klarity to pull documents from Salesforce, process and extract relevant data and push it back to Salesforce where it can be easily accessed by their sales team.

At the same time, we bring more order into the process by automatically identifying which documents need to be downloaded and which are extraneous. Files go into Salesforce, for example, and automatically pop up in Klarity. We can also fix inaccuracies, identify and flag required signatures on partially executed documents, and backfill your past opportunities. Klarity delivers extremely high accuracy, so if there are missing files or missing opportunities we will help you identify gaps in your internal processes and help you work through them — either by discussing process changes, or adapting on the technical side.

Our system only needs read-only access to the bare minimum of objects in your systems: e.g. Notes & Attachments and Opportunity ID objects in Salesforce. Access to data stored within a specific tool is dictated entirely by the system administrator of that tool, which means security is entirely under your control. Klarity also downloads data outside of your company’s peak hours to avoid impacting the functionality of your tools or infrastructure. By connecting with your tools, our system becomes a single source of truth for all documents and data points pertinent to revenue accounting.

Implementation process

The implementation process is simple. We hold several meetings with key stakeholders on your accounting and IT teams to get an in-depth understanding of your existing processes. We analyze your organizational data in a sandbox environment to determine which files we want to pull, reconcile those against your current CRM/CLM and data source processes, and then move into production. But our involvement doesn’t end there. We consistently and continually help you improve the accuracy and efficiency of the system, and work to accommodate any configurations needed as you grow.

Though Klarity connects with your existing tools, it is also not wholly dependent on them for information. Key documents that don’t live within Salesforce or your CLM, for example, can be easily uploaded into Klarity manually. Similarly, if you have information in Salesforce that is not inside a file, we can download that as well and put it at your fingertips. Any sort of metadata you may need from your current systems, Klarity can pull down. By connecting with your tools, our system becomes a single source of truth for all documents and data points pertinent to revenue accounting.
