Klarity Enterprise BDR

About this position
Klarity (tryklarity.com YCombinator S18) sells Artificial Intelligence that automates document review for enterprise companies. Our customers include companies like Okta, Coupa, MongoDB and Lattice use Klarity to save time and cost and increase compliance.

We’ve been selling our document processing product for 9 months, grew 290% since last September and have built $2m+ of pipeline with well known private and public companies. We’ve tripled our ARR over the last 6 months and are looking for our first Business Development Representative to help us build our Go-to-market as employee #19!

The Team

You will work directly with the
Director of Business Development and the Enterprise Account Executive to prospect for new customers, get the market talking about Klarity and help build a repeatable sales motion. We’re helping businesses solve complex document flows experienced by every enterprise.

What You Will Achieve:

In your first 30 days:
● You'll work closely with the Account Executive to get up to speed on our current sales process, who our target market is, and our automation tools
● You'll have cold-outreach enablement: Email, LinkedIn
● By the end of your first month, you'll comprehend what we sell, how we sell and the tools we use. 
● You'll have built out a light plan around your territory and how you're going to get after it

In your first 60 days:
● You'll immerse yourself in prospecting (responding to inbounds, proactively identifying opportunities, and booking meetings with prospective customers)
● You'll provide your AE with daily territory updates + weekly goal progress reports
● You'll be actively on the hunt for new opportunities through your own outbound motion, by working on a strategy to build a repeatable motion

In your first 90 days:
● You'll be booking as many meetings as possible with the assistance of your Account Executive, proactively identifying opportunities, responding to inbound leads, and helping the team better position themselves and the product to prospective customers
● You'll be able to optimize your list of prospects and customers to ensure you are reaching the maximum number of people possible
● You'll recommend operational changes that can make the sales team more productive and achieve the best results

Who You Are:
● We're looking for a Business Development Representative with experience selling software 
● You should have a passion for Artificial Intelligence / Natural Language Processing and helping companies think about automation of legacy processes. 
● Must be self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently
● You're fearless to start conversations, a captive storyteller, aren't afraid to ask hard questions, and can juggle many opportunities while always looking for new ones. 
● Strong oral and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills
● You're comfortable carrying a quota and operating in collaboration with others, while taking accountability for your results.
